When she fell unconscious in Aisling’s arms, it felt like the world went dark. And as I watched him teleport her away, I didn’t care about the danger of joining a teleportation halfway as I grabbed his arm, letting him teleport us back to the Academy’s teaching hospital.
And when we got there, I ignored my teleportation nausea and dizziness as I followed Aisling to find a doctor to help her. Thankfully, Keane and Baird met us halfway.
I watched as Baird placed his hands on her head even as we laid her on a hospital bed haphazardly placed in the hallway.
I didn’t breathe a sigh of relief until blood stopped pouring out of her mouth, ears and nose.
I turned to glare at Keane. “You allowed her to use that magic when you knew it would hurt her like this.”
