CHAPTER TWO It was seven o'clock and Kathy Eaton was pacing the sidewalk in front of the building where she lived. Linda was a bit late. It wasn't that Kathy was eager to go to the party tonight, but wanted to go there just to get over her fright and see what kind of men she would be dealing with. Maybe it would not be all that bad. She had rushed so fast that not only didn't she eat supper, but she hadn't even had a chance to get a cup of coffee.
