Chapter 4The time flew by, and before long it was the night before Shenin was scheduled to leave for OTS in Alabama. Sheila and Tyler had arranged a party for her that included the members of the team, all of whom were fully aware of the s****l orientation of their teammates. It also included other friends that wanted to help celebrate the occasion.
Sandra’s home was considered a safe zone, and only people who could be completely trusted were ever invited there. Sandra was an old friend; she had served alongside Tyler and Sheila for a while, before Shenin had joined the team. Since leaving the military, her home had turned into somewhat of a refuge for gay military personnel, away from the confines of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell… and it was also a great spot for a party!
