Chapter 7Shenin found out later that week what strings Tyler had at the Eielson Air Base. There was a knock on her door a couple of hours after she got back from the gym one day. She was cleaning so she answered the door with a cleaning cloth and polish in her hand. She was surprised to see the captain’s aide standing at her door, she thought she was being called in on her day off.
“Hi,” she said, realizing that she couldn’t remember the woman’s name.
“My name is Anne,” she told Shenin.
“It’s nice to actually meet you,” Shenin said. “Would you like to come in?”
“Yes, ma’am,” Anne answered.
