He carries me to the bed like I weigh nothing. The leather is cool against my back, but the air is fire, thick with the scent of him. ✧ The shirt hangs in tatters, barely clinging to my shoulders. My n*****s harden under his gaze, traitors.. ✧ Caim doesn’t move. He just watches. ✧ Like a predator deciding which part of the prey to devour first. His horns cast long shadows across the wall, curling like black flames. ✧ I swallow, throat dry. My legs shift, trying to close, but his knee wedges between them, spreading me open. ✧ “You’re trembling,” he says, voice a low rumble that vibrates in my ribs. Not a question. ✧ I nod, small, helpless. My hands twist in the sheets, knuckles white. ✧ He leans down, slow, deliberate. His mouth hovers over mine, not kissing, just breathing.
