Irish’s POV My legs feel heavy as I walk down the school corridor, my jaw clenched so tightly it aches. I can barely think straight. Ava’s absence is gnawing at me, and the more I try to calm down, the worse it gets. She took a sick leave, and something about it doesn’t sit right with me. Ava isn’t the type to just disappear.
