Ava's POV
I stared at them. I couldn’t believe it. I really couldn’t. They were here. In my room. Just like that. No warning. Of course, there was a warning, a dream, and a note at my doorstep. There was no call. They were just here. They were here
Zayne was the first to talk. He looked angry. His voice was loud. His eyes are sharp.
“Ava,” he said, “how could you do this to us?”
I didn’t answer. I just looked at him. My chest was tight.
He shouted again. He kept saying I ran away. That I made them suffer. That I hurt them. That his wolf cried every night.
I sat there on the bed and listened. I cried when their words pierced my heart. But after some time, I couldn’t take it anymore. Why was I even crying like they hurt me?
I stood up and decided to face them. My voice came out louder
