"I can't continue to lead this company."
A surprising statement came from one of the heirs of the Brant Company. Aland was known as a genius and obeyed his grandfather's orders, but now Aland began to defy his grandfather.
The look on his grandfather's face was one of disappointment and anger. "Aland."
"I am sorry, Granpa, I need more time."
Everyone looked at Aland and his grandfather. Not long after, they checked their phones, there was a notification. They were now whispering to each other.
"Council, let's focus first."
"I agree that Aland is not the successor to the Brant Company," replied one of the board members.
Bobby was happy to hear that.
Then one of Dixon's assistants showed a news story that the suspected culprit was Aland.
"This news is about Mr. Aland, sir."
Several photos and videos spread across social media show the incident on the plane a few hours ago. 'Aland as the next generation of Brant Company's CEO candidate allegedly sexually harassed and threatened a female passenger.'
Aland grabbed the phone that Dixon Brant was looking at. His eyes widened in surprise. This was not like the actual incident.
"Its not like--"
"Aland, go to grandpa's room now!"
"But i'm--"
"Right now!"
This wasn't the first time Aland had been set up like this and he knew exactly who the real culprit was. Aland walked away following his grandfather's footsteps even though he himself didn't know what kind of punishment he would now receive again.
"Is that Dad?" asked Drake.
"No, it's not. But, this is a good opportunity for us. Let's follow me."
Meanwhile on Aland's side, he had just entered his grandfather's luxurious room. It was obvious that his grandfather was in a bad mood at the moment. Even so, Aland would try to deal with it despite not knowing what else would happen after this.
Either confiscate all the facilities his grandfather had given him so far or exile him abroad again like 10 years ago.
"Grandpa, apologize, please."
Dixon tossed over some photos. "Who is that girl?"
Aland didn't answer, or rather didn't have the courage to answer. He was a man who loved his grandchildren, especially Aland. However, he did not like it when it came to the pride of the Brant Company. For a long time, Dixon had strictly forbidden his grandson to date for any reason.
Love? For Dixon, life is not enough love. Everything must be about relationships for the future of the company.
"Hum, so you not answer me, Aland?"
There was still no answer from Aland. He don't know what would be safer for him, keeping their relationship a secret or telling the truth. Aland was just worried that Dixon would intrude on Sunny's life-his girlfriend.
"Okay, thats your choice."
Suddenly Aland was on his knees before his grandfather. "Please, don't disturb her, Grandpa. I really really love her."
"Love? Oh, come on. Aland Brant cares about love?" he looked sharply at his grandson and said, "broke up with her."
"Grandpa, I don't trust bassicly, but with her I know what the meaning of love is."
"Go to Brant Island, and I forgive you."
Yes, exiled a second time by her grandfather for the same reason. When he only had a relationship with the person he loved.
Who said being a prince in a palace was fun? In fact, for Aland it was nothing more than a bird in a cage. It looked beautiful and couldn't do much except obey its master's requests.
"Now, rest in your room, the move to Brant Island will be taken care of by your father. Don't worry about that."
His grandfather was about to walk away leaving Aland in the room. Today there would be a lot of business he had to take care of, especially about the company whose shares might plummet because of his favorite grandson's actions.
"Are you going to exile me again like ten years ago?"
His grandfather's footsteps stopped. They stared at each other for a moment. This hurt Aland somehow. Living as the grandson of Dixon Brant made him completely miserable.
It seemed like only a few minutes ago that his grandfather had greeted him with a smile, but now it had turned into anger and hatred all rolled into one.
"Fine, if that's what you want."
Aland walked out of Dixon Brant's room. Then several of his bodyguards entered his room.
"Did you find out about this girl, Filbert?"
Filbert showed one of the girl's videos. She had recently been informed by her manager to be in a movie with a famous actor.
"A drug scandal?"
"Yes, sir. The news has spread widely and it is rumored that she is currently the illicit lover of one of our country's officials."
"Right now, we can still use her as bait. Make sure Hugo takes Aland away. Do you understand?"
"Yes, I do."

Aland stared blankly at the view from the balcony of the room. The beautiful scenery extended to the green hills on the other side.
Ten years ago, he had to let go of his mother. And now, he had to let go of Sunny.
"I've become a top student, and I'm doing business the way my grandfather and father wanted me to, but they haven't changed at all."
At the sound of the door opening, the man simply walked into Aland's room without knocking.
"Long time no see, my brother."
Aland only glanced sarcastically. He had enough problems already, he was reluctant to get into any more trouble with his brother.
"I'm glad you're back on Asia Road, brother."
"Stop calling me your brother, we have different mom!"
"But, we're still brothers."
"Your mother, the secretary who seduced father in the office, cannot be compared to my mother. We will never be equal!"
Drake could not contain his emotions. He picked up a baseball bat and smashed it against Aland's head. The sleep-deprived Aland was instantly unconscious, his head completely dizzy.
"Who do you think you are to insult my mom, huh?"
