I fluttered my eyes open to see the same diminished walls and things inside my room, the only difference is that I am all alone. Kore vanished last night and I assume that everybody else in this house did too since I glanced at the clock on my bed table to see that it was already 12, if Elri or any other maids were still here they would barge in my room at 8 to wake me up but they didn't.
I groggily sat up as I was rubbing my swelling eyes from crying too much last night until dawn. Even though I just spent a whole 12 hours of sleeping, I can still feel the weight afflicted in my chest after watching Kore disappear since, after all, that would be the last time I would see her after Aeris dumps me in oblivion for the rest of eternity.
