Heart galloping, I slid out of Julian's arms. My knees were weak when my feet touched the floor. I wasn't at all surprised I'd given in so easily. Julian was irresistible, and I was...well, aroused beyond belief. I glanced at him over my shoulder. “I just need to lock up."
His gaze locked with mine and his eyes burned with such intensity, I couldn't look away. Too caught up in his lascivious stare, I forgot my legs were still moving and I walked right into a table.
“Oomph." I stumbled but was saved by an arm wrapping around my waist. Of course, Ruby the Klutz would show up to embarrass me at a time like this. However, I didn't get much time to wallow in my embarrassment. Before I knew it, I was spun around and locked in Julian's arms.
“Dammit, I can't wait," he said and swooped
