"I'm Back with BACK UPS!" :The Sweet Revenge

Rewind. Two Years Ago

          It's been month since we moved in the city because my mom applied for work here and I'm already entering as a freshman in college, chose to study in East Gregor University where I enrolled in Natural Sciences Department.

          First day of school in college, I've been here in the room as early as one hour before the first class starts, busy browsing my social media account and never intended to talk to someone here. Meanwhile, the students are busy knowing each other.

"Do you know about the group Hevody already?", the excitement from her voice that drove to my ears, they're talking near to my seat.

“Of course, I know about them! They're the hotties here in school right? Kyaah!", they both shuddered.

"Gosh I hope I can see them!"

Minutes later, a woman suddenly enters in our room and greets us all, "Good morning freshmen!", her energy awakes the surroundings, and we fix ourselves, "Good morning maam", she occupies the seat in front.

As usual for the first day, we introduce ourselves from stating our name, reason in choosing the course, philosophy in life and expectations. As we finished the introduction, it's the teacher's turn to introduce herself, "So, I'm Ms. Shiela Rodriquez, your professor in-charge. For today, there'll be no discussions, if you have anything to say then feel free to speak, okay?", she said then one of her students raised her hand, the girl whom I heard talking awhile ago.

"Yes, proceed"

"Is it true that the group Hevody exists maam?", Ms. Shiela throws a smile in the whole class, "Oh so you heard about those handsome boys huh. Are they the reason why you enrolled here?", she teases which made the whole class reacts in our prof's joke.

Then our prof started her story, "Well, they are on their second year now actually. But, their building is quite far from here because they're taking business ad. But they may be your classmates in PE, I'm just not sure if here in this class or in other sections", the word that made other girls here build hopes.

"Can you tell us more about them maam?", the whole class seem got interested.

"Gosh these students! Okay, well, they're all handsome, that's it! And to tell you, they're not interested in any of the students here", she sighs, "So, would that be enough? No more topic about them hmm? Make yourselves busy for awhile, I have to go in the faculty", she then walks out the room.

          Breaktime. Here, I'm still alone so instead of visiting the refectory area, I just decided to stand by in the rooftop to feel at peace far from the noisy hallways. When I reach the rooftop, I look for a perfect spot when my body suddenly bumped unto someone, "I'm sorry", I said while fixing my posture back then have a look on whom I bumped to. Standing in front of me, a tall decently-looking man who is now glaring at me, I guessed he's not on the mood, "Excuse me", he said in a cold way but here I am who can't cut off my sight from him because of his strong aura, he's just too perfect but it seems he has a problem with his attitude, "Can't you hear? Move", he speaks again and came back to senses when I realize that I'm still blocking his way, then moving aside and let him passed by.

He keeps walking away when someone speaks from my back, "Don't feel bad, he used to be like that to everyone", startled at first then when I turn around, another man is standing in front of me. He's smiling and here am I again speechless due to his unimaginable looks, well, they're both handsome but unlike the other first one, this man has a soft expression but at the same time, seductive. 

Am I dreaming? 

But as I look at him, I got the feeling that he looks familiar and it seems I encountered him somewhere before, "What's the problem?", he asks after noticing my confused face, "Uh hm nothing", a smirk drawn from him. He then passes me by when he suddenly stop, "Mark your calendar, May 26 2019", he said then walk away. I was left wondering what he just told me the fact that today is already September 2019. I look the said date in my phone calendar and a note was marked on that day of May 26, 2019, a note with description 'That Fred s**t cheated on me', which reminds me of that day. 

May 26,2019. While waiting for the opening of school year in college, I applied part time job for the meantime where I met Sasha, my crew mate. 10pm in the evening after we close the shop, "Isn't he your boyfriend?", Sasha said and simply pointed to me those couple who were flirting in the parking lot near to our shop. That scene froze me in shock and much more after confirming that the guy is really Fred, my boyfriend. I don't know what to react as my world suddenly muted for a second. Until Sasha noticed my blank expression, "That jerk!", she enraged, "Just wait here and let me talk to him", she added and about to walk towards them when I grab her hand to stop her, a fierce look shown to my face, "It's okay. J-just let me handle this. Stay here", but trying to hold my tears. I made myself calm first then confidently walked towards them.

When I was finally near to them, I suddenly hooked my left arm around my boyfriend's neck then pretended to smile, but start tightening the grip on his neck, "Hey Fred!", they both shock, especially him who seemed seeing a ghost, "Y-yani?", surprisingly saw me, "Yani? Who is she babe?", the girl asked which made me enraged more so I simply tighten more the grip around his neck but still showing my full smile, "Hi! I'm his cousin. Whoo he never told me about you huh. What's your name by the way?", I babbled.

The girl smiled, "Ericka, Fred's girlfriend".

"Oh I see. I'm sooo glad for him!", meanwhile, Fred was trying to loose from the grip, "What are you doing here?", with his voice slightly raised up.

"Here? I'm waiting for my boyfriend!", clearly emphasised the word boyfriend to his s**t face then my eyes caught a guy near us who seemed to enter in his car, "Oh there he is! BEYB!", I shouted that made the guy stopped and look towards my direction, "I'm here!", I wave to him also, "Ha ha I have to go now, have a good night to my s**t COUSIN and also to you s**t!", with a fake smile that made them both speechless and I headed towards the guy. Because my mind went blank, I just entered to this guy's car in the front seat and he just started driving, leaving the parking lot and neither one of us dared to speak.

After we went farther from the parking lot, I never noticed that my cheeks were both wet because of tears and so out of nowhere, I whimpered out loud continuously. The unknown guy handled me the box full of tissues, "Are you that happy for your cousin having a girlfriend?", he asked that made me howl more in tears.

"Yes! I'm happy for him!", I replied contrary to my feelings.

"I guess so. They both look happy. She's beautiful, she has an ideal body of a model, she's too gorgeous, she' so—"

"Stop!", I shouted because I can't handle what was he babbling about that girl, "Stop the car now", pleading to him until he stopped the car in the sidewalk but still howling in too much pain, "Sorry for my inconvenience", as I stepping outside the car while apologizing to him. That was the first and last encounter with him. 

"HE'S THAT GUY?!", I was about to lost my balance after realizing it. Suddenly conquer by embarrassment since I throw a scene like that in front of him. Much worst, he's also here in this school.

          In the afternoon, there are no professors who supervise us thus we just spend our first day freely. While others are playing in the gym, some of us choose to go at the cafeteria. I find it weird because all the students here right now are girls, not until my attention turns to the corner where the furtive looks of the girls also point there. Then suddenly feel my legs numb again after realizing the man who are sitting in the corner.

I tend to hide my face and simply leave the cafeteria when I heard someone speaks a little far behind me, it's a girl who approach the guy in the corner, "Henry, it's been months since we last met", this approach made the ladies envious, but the guy seems irritated, "I guess so", his only reply, "Why didn't you call me these past few months? Don't you miss me?", an obvious act trying to win his attention. He then seriously looks to her, his angelic smile changed to cold glare that made everyone keep quiet as they seem enjoying the situation. But he suddenly smirks and looks at my directions out of nowhere," Because of her", he said and now all of the students' attention is on my place. Meanwhile, I'm trying to figure out whose HER is he talking about, but it turns out that all eyes are on me. 

Wait? ME??!!! 

 "Babe!", he suddenly stand up and walks towards me while my mind went puzzled on why that guy who smiled at me in the rooftop is now calling me babe. What much worse is that we're in the cafeteria with so many students watching us, including my classmates who are in shock and speechless. He stop infront of me, he smile that made everyone shudders with envious, he gently hold my hand and we walk out of the cafeteria. After that scene, the whole campus already talks about us, the highlight of the day.
