Three days after Mr and Mrs Kane have reported Miles missing, Matt, Jamie and Nick are gathered at the Helders’ house after school, trying to make sense of everything. It barely takes an i***t to put the pieces together and realise that Miles’s disappearance is linked with Alex’s, but since this morning, the entire situation has been made even more mysterious by the discovery of a hand-written letter sent directly to the Kanes’ house, signed from their own son.
