He parked their camper at the base of his sister’s driveway. Since it narrowed closer to the house, he wanted to avoid blocking any of their vehicles. He didn’t love the idea of freeloading off of his sibling, so the least he could do was not be a nuisance. Kenna put on a nice, pale blue dress with matching ties for her hair, which was neatly braided in a spiral pattern. It’d taken a few weeks for Dakota to get the hang of styling it how she liked and doing so without causing her much discomfort. He wasn’t exactly knowledgeable about hair in general. Hell, he barely ran a comb through his own unruly curls once a day, and maybe got a cut every couple of months. So, it would’ve been a challenge regardless of the thickness.
