I walk into the house and frown a little at hearing the sound of Jace laughing.
Following the sound of his voice to the kitchen, I walk through the door seeing him and Rya sitting at the countertop.
Seeing the glare on Rya's face, I ignore it knowing exactly what that's about. Seeing Jace's backpack on the floor, I bring my attention to Jace who supposes to be at school.
"Why aren't you at school?" I ask, knowing he's probably trying to skip school here at my place. It won't be the first time I caught him hiding out at my house while I wasn't here.
