18 Josie I had been startled by Alex’s strong reaction to my usage of the single pink hanger in their hall closet, but when I found out the reasoning behind it, my heart burned hot in my chest. I couldn’t even imagine how glorious it must feel to be that special to someone. The scenario played through my mind of a young Alex fighting off anyone else who dared to try to use Claire’s pink coat hanger at school. It must have made her feel so unique and cherished.
