22 Josie The more I read of Alex’s books, the more I wanted to read. He had a natural and vivid way of describing his characters’ lives that made me feel like I was seeing, touching, and feeling everything right along with them. I’d never been much of a romance reader, but his books were far from the predictable boilerplate bores I expected them to be.
