10 Josie As far as first days on the job went, today had to be one of the best. Hannah was an absolute joy, and her father wasn’t too bad either. I was about ninety percent sure he wasn’t going to murder me, and I actually found him to be rather charming in the brief moments when I managed to forget that he might have killed his wife. Hannah had wanted me to spend the night with her, but I didn’t need to get the town’s rumor mill churning with that juicy tidbit of news.
