“I really do want that, Daddy…I promise it’s the truth!” One last kiss and I pulled the comforter over her shoulders. “I’ll be back later,” I told her softly. The rain seemed to be settled in for the night. After I’d finished my status report I cleared away the mugs and kissed Claire gently on the forehead. Despite what she said about her fantasies easing the pain, I’d given her some Tylenol to help with her n*****s.
