Chapter 4

406 Words
I'm a bit worried, it's been 4 hours and the boy hasn't woken up yet. "Wake up." I shake him for about the 15th time. He stirs, but doesn't wake up. I do what I have to, I slap him straight on the face. He jolts up and then looks around, "Where am I? Who am 1?" He asks, suddenly alert. "Your uh-" I stutter for an answer. "Your josh! And your a werewolf. You just hit your head hard in the tree and blacked out." I say coming up with an easy identity. "Oh that makes sense. What were we discussing?" He says yawning and cracking his back, completely believing my lie. "Well- um- we- uh were discussing how to get more people in our pack! Yeah and how do you think we should get more people for our pack, do you think you know any rouges?" I mutter as he gets up. "No but we can find out tonight, it's a new moon so we will find a ton of rouges." He said. That's when it clicked. "New moon!" I say squealing a bit. New moon would be the perfect name for my pack. "Excuse me?" He says laughing a bit. "A name for our pack duh!" I said like it was obvious. "Our pack?" He repeats, smirking. "Oh don't flatter yourself." I say, already regretting not killing him. He glares. "How do I shift again? Sorry I must've hit my head hard." He says rubbing his head as if it hurt. "First stand normally, just your normal posture." I say. He closes his eyes and adjusts himself so he is comfortable. This part helps the shifting be easier and less painful. "Then imagine yourself as a wolf, now your inner wolf will have a name and hopefully it is a guy..." I mutter the last part, trailing off. "Wait what?" He asks. "Nothing." I say smiling. He looks at me suspiciously before concentrating on the task of being a wolf. I decided to watch him shift because I don't really watch people shift, only if I am forced to. (A/N: since he is becoming a 'new wolf' his inner wolf is deciding what he will look like. That's how it is decided in this book by the way :)  ) I watch as his inner wolf decides his colors, sometimes lingering on a specific shade or pattern. I continue to watch as my excitement grows. My heart almost stops when his wolf settles. It wasn't an ordinary wolf. It was a white wolf.
