PURIFY: YOUR ABILITY

Purify:

"You are one of the most rarest individuals, you may call yourself a shell, or just an empty person. One that has no desire, one that has nothing to lose, and the one who is the most worthy heir of everything."

Lei:

"What do you mean by that? Am I someone powerful?"

Purify:

"Not yet, but you are a candidate..."

Lei:

"I don't understand. What..."

"The voice inside my head disappeared with those parting words, it left me more confused."

"Setting that aside, I walked to the carriage and saw children. I was right, those were illegal traders. The kids were all wearing the same type of clothing, covering their faces as if it was a coat with no sleeves that takes a cape for its identification. I gently ordered them to slowly get down the carriage, there were only 6 of them. While they were slowly getting down, I noticed something about one of them."

"After that, we walked towards my campsite so that I can nurse them."

"When we arrived at my tent one of them suddenly approached me holding a knife as if she is going to stab me, while on it the cloth fell out of her head and revealed her identity. I immediately held her wrist and spin her gently above me and held both of her hands at her back. This girl has an ear of a dog like, I think she is a demi human. Unfortunately I had to pin her down, the other kids were just watching as if they were already used to watching this kind of situation. I tied her hands and lay her down inside the tent while I treat the other kids."

"The wounds and bruises of this kids are quite different from normal, it feels like I've seen something like this before but only in movies. These kind of injuries are from torture. I didn't bother to ask these kids about it yet, I think they've gone something traumatic."

The girl woke up and saw that Lei was treating the others...

"You're right, what you're thinking right now is correct. We are indeed victims of torture."

Lei noticed that she already calmed down so Lei released her and decided to talk to her...

Lei:

"My name is Lei Ejin, and I am just a traveler finding my way home, how about you?"

"My name is...

The girl was biting her lips while staring at the camp fire crackling, she sat and held her knees and lowered her face...

Lei:

"It is okay if you don't want to tell me yet, I don't plan to pry in other people's problems after all. I just helped you kids cause I thought I saw something, I have no plans of doing any further. I will leave tomorrow morning, you guys go on wherever you want to go. Let us have our separate ways and forget about me."

The girl went back inside tent...

"It seems that it is already night time, I wonder what was the purpose of me saving these kids. When did I started to act like this? Yet I haven't changed at all, what a Boring mentality. I wish I just had the reason to...

Purify:

"To what?"

Lei:

"Oh its you again, surprising I can talk to you through my head. I won't be mistaken as a crazy person like this."

Purify:

"I am nothing but a mere consciousness, of course you may talk to me through your head"

Lei:

"You mean you were always there?"

Purify:

"Indeed"

Lei:

"So are you my power or something?"

Purify:

"I am"

Lei:

"So why show up now? I was completely treated bad for being weak back then, not that I care but it feels kind of frustrating"

Purify:

"Don't assume anything, even if I was awake during those times you won't still have mana and magical capacity, and I can't still even be identified by the sorter."

Lei:

"Well, somethings telling me that you're quite powerful"

Purify:

"No, you're powerful. I am you, therefore it is your power. Listen, in this world your existence is quite unique among all of the individuals. Let us just say that, you are not a subject for mana and magic."

Lei:

"Please just explain everything, though I won't give a damn. I hate being petty same as being confused."

Purify:

"As what I have told you already I am nothing but your mere consciousness. Before, I was not able to talk to you, but something happened inside you that gave you power to unlock everything that was hindered inside you and I was once chained inside. Even I cannot explain what happened, you might have already noticed that your abilities as a normal human have changed right? To think that you're not available for mana and magic you're quite powerful."

Lei:

"Oh really? Then how powerful and what power do I posses?"

Purify:

"My name is already the explanation for that, I don't understand why such a consciousness like me exist in someone like you. You have the power to neutralize all kinds of attack or anything that can cause damage to your body and become immune to that kind of attack for eternity, you will no longer be affected by that kind of attack ever again. However, it is not so simple. You need to experience that kind of attack first you will need to loose half of your life first. Just like what happened earlier, the talons of that beast pierced through your body, then the ability activated. You will regenerate all of your health and be completely immune to those talons. Those won't work or shall I say do damage to your body any longer, ever. Saying that, all talons or claws of any kinds of beast will have no effect on you anymore no matter how powerful it is. Second, after experiencing such thing the superiority ability will be active to that attacker forever. The attacker will become inferior to you and could swear loyalty, that is. However, after using these abilities. The conditions will be met and you will be powerless for three hours."

Lei:

"Now that you've mentioned about that three hours cool down, it was wise of me to pin that girl down. I could have died at the spot."

The morning came, Lei passed out last night due to the fatigue that was all making up inside his body...

"So I fell asleep huh, I let my guard down.
