August 27, 2015, Martis CampA week ago, the construction crew vacated the Dream Home site, leaving every windowpane glazed, eaves and rafters framed, shingles nailed, walls plastered, molds crowned—every fixture in place. The Dream Home stands structurally sound, ready for Tom to bring it down. Today, Tom spies through binoculars on the interior design team, camera crew, and photographers as they enter the home, working on its completion and photographing every interior and exterior angle of the home. All-day, vans from various furniture stores arrive. Movers, guided by the design team, haul boxes of furniture and accessories inside appropriate areas of the home.
