Chapter 17 – End of the storyWhen Saru arrived in front of the barracks, the questioning was still under way and nobody knew when it would finish. For obvious reasons the press conference was postponed. The journalist was afraid that the wait would be so long that this would ruin the romantic evening he was planning on spending with Elisa and it would have a disastrous effect on their relationship.
«Where are you coming from?» his colleagues asked him.
«I took a tour around the island today».
«Who do you think you’re fooling around? What other tricks do you have up your sleeve?».
«I don’t know what you’re talking about» he replied pretending not to understand.
