Chapter 20

The pain was excruciating. Even though her mother had warned her that there was nothing as painful as childbirth, Ginny really had no idea that anything could ever hurt this badly. It felt as if everything inside of her was fighting to get out and that the only exit couldn’t possibly be large enough to accommodate such a force. This had been going on for some time now. Though the pain around her abdomen had started off rather slowly, now almost eight hours in, wave after wave hit her with little rest in-between, and she thought there was no way she could hold out for much longer.
