Celestial Springs Convalescent Home was a stately, old building with a wide porch and six columned pillars that announced its significance long before one ever entered the marble halls. Built in the early 18th century, the property had originally been an asylum catering mostly to men, some criminally insane, but Dr. Grigsby had taken on the property a few years prior, and with the help of investors, such as Isaac himself and the bank where he was employed, Grigsby had turned the lunatic asylum into something much more astute. Now, he housed affluent patients, mostly women, and the doctor was performing state of the art research to help these poor unfortunate souls return to society, hysteria free.
