The Neverending Love

2237 Words

I couldn't believe what my eyes saw; I couldn't believe what my ears heard. Everything felt like a dream, too good to be true. Victor stood in front of me with my parents along with him. I couldn't believe that my parents had agreed to our relationship. I never knew what my parents went through. I never knew what kind of pain my father kept experiencing all these years, living with the dead memories of his lover. What could be more harder than living with the fact that your lover gave away their life, especially when you knew they died for you, for your happiness, for their own peace. Knowing that you could've saved their life. Two weeks without Victor felt like a hell to me. Like someone had taken the will of my living. Two weeks without Victor felt like I was some walking dead weight.
