The Opening

From what I've gathered, the base with the least people around is the warehouse by the factory. Also has less foot traffic coming to and from, making it the best place for a hideout for Head Hunter's goons.      "Why would the factory have the least amount of Head Hunter's of henchmen?" I ask Eddie.       "Think about it kid," The cafe and laundromat that they have has way too many people coming in and out. It's not good for both us and for them if we raid their base and get civilians get caught up in the chaos. That's why the warehouse is our best pick for our first raid, the warehouse isn't really a place where people gather, we have less eyes watching us, and we can avoid getting civilians involved. And to be sure we attack at night. This also works in our favor because so far kid, you have only fought against one of Head Hunter's henchmen, this being Ken.  If we were to raid a hideout which has more of Head Hunter's men we would just end up killing ourselves. Tomorrow before midnight I'll come pick you up, then we head to the warehouse kid. They probably don't have much going on in a factory so we can make do with a frontal assault.     Today felt like one of the longest days I have ever had. Training felt way more agonizing than usual, partly because I was so high strung today. The only thing that was on my mind today was what me and Eddie had to do later.       Time seemed to pass longer than usual. It felt like eternity. As I waited for the clock to strike midnight,  all I thought about was the damn absurdity of what we were about to do. Even if there were fewer henchmen at the warehouse, it still was a suicide mission, entering unannounced in enemy territory and beating them up so that we could gather more information on Head Hunter. A loud knock coming from the door jolted me back to reality.      "Rise and shine kid!"    I open the door to see Eddie holding up a paper bag of fast food in his hand. "Eat up kid". "Always better to fight on an empty stomach", Eddie said with a grin.        "What's that?"      "Hamburgers and cold fries, they were cheap but it'll fill you up"    We brisk walked to the warehouse. Eddie and I spent this eating cold burgers and cold fries. Actually, I take that back, Eddie ate most of the food. I tried to eat but my anxiety manifested itself into a churning stomach, which made me feel like I would throw up if I were to eat a hamburger.       " You sure you don't want a burger?" Eddie asked.      "Listen man, I really feel like throwing up", I say quietly    This uneasiness that I felt was the same as last time. It was as like I could sense danger from the wind. Or maybe I'm just overthinking things. I had to steel myself, fighting Ken was extremely grueling. I almost lost my life, if my magic didn't manifest that day, I would probably be six feet under. And now I had to face off against a warehouse full people like him, if not stronger.    As we walked, all I thought about was the many months worth of practice I had. All those hours of practice, of honing my sword skills and my ability to control the winds will be put to the test today. My mind was racing at a million miles an hour as I was making up different scenarios in my head of what was to come.     I was lost in thought. But every now and then, I would lose focus because of Eddie's burping. At first it started of with only his burping, but with each step we took I began to gradually lose my concentration to different sounds. The sounds of our footsteps on wet pavement rang in my head, the crumpled paper bag of fast food the Eddie held in his hand as well, and even our breathing felt so loud.    It felt like my hearing was very sensitive right now.    It was quite annoying.    In what felt like forever, we finally arrived. The warehouse was in sight, but we had to be cautious.  We couldn't just walk right up to the front door, that would immediately catch the attention of the people inside and it would be over before you knew it.     Eddie and I decided that we would sneak to the back. There was a tiny unguarded entrance in the back that Eddie was able to scout from when he was snooping around.     It was now or never.
