“Where’s Diego?” Percy asked Rohan as he helped to tidy up the café. “And why are we closing early? It’s not even seven o’clock yet.”
“I know,” Rohan answered. “But we’ve sold out all of the pastries and sandwiches, and we don’t want you to bother making more. We’ll be closing in another hour.”
“You’re right,” Percy agreed, glancing around to make sure everything was neat and clean. “I just feel bad for the last two customers who came in together. They obviously wanted to borrow some of our books and get something to drink before relaxing on one of the couches until closing time.”
