“You’re not pregnant.” Dr. Murray states clearly, holding my results in his hands.
I blink once, then twice, before nodding my head.
“Oh. That’s so strange. I thought for sure.. I-I felt something that first night.” My brows furrow as Charles hands me the paperwork.
“I do agree with you, Darci. Usually during your first heat it is exceptionally common to become pregnant, especially when both wolves come from strong bloodlines. However, it’s nothing to be fretting about. What you felt was probably the solidifying of your bond with your mate. It is a very powerful thing, you know.” He responds casually.
