Nothing is the same anymore, not since Clara died. Our pack was just learning how to pick up the pieces after the rogue attack and the kidnappings. As soon as we started to get comfortable, in a proper routine, a member of our own pack slaughtered The Alpha’s daughter.
I don’t understand why they picked her. There’s seven of us, it would have made sense to kill me as the next Alpha. Instead, they chose to murder my little sister. Our community is broken, all of our hearts suffering from this loss. If they wanted to hurt us, well, consider it victory.
