Darci’s POV It’s been a few weeks since we requested to build our home near the lake in the middle of the territory. Surprisingly, Alpha and Luna approved of my idea, allowing us to request permits from the pack’s accounting firm. Many members approved of the idea as well, however, more were concerned about the destruction of a small area of trees we’d have to remove to make enough space for construction. Luckily, Ezra happens to be an excellent negotiator, reaching an agreement that outlined re-locating the trees throughout the territory, rather than destroying them. Many residents happily approved, some even asking if a tree from the selected area could be planted in their own yards as a symbol of respect.
