Darci’s POV  I woke up cold and alone on the filthy cobblestone floor once again. I must have slept through the day, indicated by the lack of light through the cell window. The chains I was bound by are still burning into my skin. Someone was kind enough to throw the scrap of a blanket over me. I assume it was Thallus, as his father didn’t strike me as the considerate type. I pulled the blanket off me to see my cuts still hadn’t healed, thanks to the wolfsbane still lingering in my system. Each cut on my skin was surrounded by bruising, and some were starting to look infected.
