The Diamond ring on my finger had gone missing and I hadn’t even remembered where last I had seen or kept it.
“Uhm..I don’t know” I mumbled softly but almost immediately, I realized that any more minutes I wasted here would mean a lot of problems for me. “But I promise I’ll find it once I’m home, alright” I quickly hustled off, walking as quick as I could on the heels.
The building had remained the same since I left. People in different work attires made their way in and out of the entrance but my eyes still hadn’t caught sight of Daemon or his car and it felt slightly weird.
