Perin woke, not quite believing that the previous night had happened until he realised that Rowan’s naked form was pressed against him. He lay still in the darkness, just letting his mind process the previous day’s events.
He still didn’t know what had caused her to decide to initiate their encounter that evening, and he would be lying to himself if he said that he wasn’t surprised. Although, they had spent a nice day together; he had certainly been enjoying her company.
