Perin woke up curled around his wife, something that had quickly become familiar over the past few days. He nestled into her and breathed in the scent of her hair, enjoying her closeness before she was aware enough to rebuff him. She had changed after they went to visit the pool yesterday, and he couldn’t help but be concerned that it would mean a setback in their burgeoning relationship.                 He knew that it was all a massive change for her, and also knew that it would take time for her to adjust, but that didn’t mean that he didn’t find it troubling when she showed that she was hurting.
