The police had kept him for nearly the full 96 hours when they brought through his charge sheet. It had the charge of manslaughter detailed, and the conditions of his bail. He could go home, or to his registered address anyway which was different to the compound, but he couldn’t have any contact with anyone else who would be involved in the either his own case, or the case against the traffickers.
There wasn’t a date for his magistrates hearing yet, but he would get a letter detailing that soon. They advised him that they didn’t want him working at the moment either, so basically, he had nothing to do now but wait to attend court.
