“Why hasn’t she returned yet?” I asked Emma in a worried tone. Emma looked pale while biting her nails in panic.
“I… I don’t know…. Sh… she didn’t tell me anything before she… she left… a… and I.. I don’t know how to reach her.” She answered me while trying not to cry but her voice cracked so much.
“Don’t panic, sis…. She will be okay, and she will be back soon.” Sylvester tried to comfort her but she shook her head furiously.
