I listened to him tentatively but couldn’t recall any memory where I had seen him in my past life. He told me that he met me once still I didn’t have any memory of that meeting. He didn’t tell me why he was so heartbroken when I talked about my death, but deep in my heart, I felt that I was a sensitive topic for him.
Yet I was glad that he opened his heart in front of me. He told me I was important for him. He… he had a kind of crush on me that startled me the most. It got the looks, and I was stunning beautiful just like Emma, but getting a compliment from someone like Marcus was other thing. Only I knew how difficult it was for me to control my blush.
