“I swear to god, Marcus, one more word in disrespect towards Emma, and I will kill them without any hesitation. Are they even qualified to even take her name?” Avery scolded Marcus while pacing hard in her room. She was fuming in anger, but the way she berated all those alphas made me giggle and I immediately put my hand on my mouth to muffle my voice.
Marcus glared hard at me when he glanced at me and I just cleared my throat. “Why are you laughing, Xavier? Did I crack a joke?” I immediately straightened my back when she shot daggers on me through her eyes.
“I…. I am not laughing, my love… an… and how could I laugh? You are right…. They are not even worthy of taking Emma’s name, let alone disrespect her. She is going to be their queen, and I am sure that Emma is itching
