Father and Daughter

Mubarak scanned their surroundings once more, which was filled with beautiful plants and short trees. The masjid was beautifully built and it brought solace to people's minds. Why did he stop coming? He asked himself with a sigh but immediately composed his arrogant self by walking away. Rahmah frowned at this. What's wrong with your father? She asked Khira . That…I don't know. Probably frustrated. She replied with a dull face but quickly urged them inside. Rahmah saw the father - daughter duo behave like this and became more confused. What's happening? Not wanting to ruin the happy girl's mood, she left her question unanswered . She stepped into the girls area with Khira in her arms and they both went to sit in a secluded corner. The sheikh started by greeting everyone in the masjid then proceeded to the main theme of the day, importance of Ramadan and the rewards in it. Why do you have to do good and be grateful to your lord?. It has been stated in the Quran , (surah tul baqarah). Where Allah has numbered the days of Ramadan and those that can fast it. They concluded by telling the people to ask questions and the first to ask was Khira. Khira, do you seriously want to?. Rahmah asked jokingly. Of course…my dad said ; Always go to a gathering prepared and if you aren't prepared then know while you are at it. Tsk…tsk. Your father is good with words then. Alright, you ask your question. Rahmah reminds her. That's right. So, she started into the microphone 🎤. Assalamu alaykum sheikh. Her cute voice resonates throughout the masjid. Wa alaykum Salam sister. What's your question? He went straight to the point. Well. My question is to ask who Allah is. Chuckles started coming and kids her age covered their mouths in shock. What, she doesn't know who he is? A girl her age said and she quickly dropped her head. Atakbir. The sheikh replied and everyone shouted Allah Akbar. That's a beautiful question sister. Wanting to know more is a sign of intelligence . He praised and the whole masjid became quiet again. Let me ask you a question first. He directed to the girl. Where did the sun come from? From space, from the universe ,from the big bang !.… I guess. She answered with a slightly raised voice. She was starting to blend. She has attended seminars and spoken in large crowds , so she felt rejuvenated. Okay. What caused the big bang?. He asked again. Uh.. I don't know… maybe nothing. Can nothing explode? He asked. Nah.. that would be weird. She replied. Exactly. So whatever began everything can't be nothing. It must be something beyond everything. Something that doesn't need a start. Things in this world have a start you know. Even if your game has to load, the bomb has to be activated and so on . That's right. She said, But that's inside the game. The one who made it isn't inside it , waiting to load right?. She asked. Yes… so Allah is like the one outside the game. Beautifully said. The sheikh said. So, he is the owner of time, the creator of space and the controller of every law that makes your game. The entire universe. Um.. he isn't waiting in time, he is the reason time exists . So, he doesn't begin or end!. Words like before or after are for things inside the time. Allah isn't the story, he is the author . It is said in a hadith that ( rufi atil aqalam, wa jafati suhuf) The pen has risen and it has dried. He continues. Then, if he created everything , does that mean he made nothing too?. She asked curiously.
