Chapter 4 Learning the truth

**Nikki's POV**

I woke up at 5 in the morning. I take a shower and get dress in, jeans and a blouse with flowers and butterfly. I put on a pair of teens shoes and head to the kitchen to start breakfast.

I make over easy eggs and pancakes with toast. While I listen to Country Music, I'm singing along.

**Aaron's POV**

I woke up at 5 this morning and got dressed in my suit, then I made phone calls and video calls. At 6 I opened my door and was hit with the most mouth watering smell, I followed it to the kitchen. Once I walked into the dining room I hear country music playing, and I see Nikki cooking and singing to the music. She turned around to plate the eggs and nearly dropped them. I smirked "Good Morning, future wife!"

It has been a month since I've been here, every morning she makes breakfast while listening to Country Music, and is always surprised to see me.

Nikki: "Good Morning, Mr. O'Neill."

I frowned She called me that last night as will. "Call me Aaron." She doesn't say anything just walk over to the fridge and grabs the syrup, butter and milk. So I grab the three plates of eggs, pancakes and toast. We set at the table and start eating.

The food was delicious. I looked at her, "Thank you, the food was delicious, as always. I look up to see her looking at me laughing with the most beautiful smile I have seen on her. And just like that I'm hard. F-ed, I look at the time it is 7, I have a board meeting at 10, I need to leave here in the next 30 minutes to be there at 8, I have to make sure that I have everything I need. Then I should have an hour for some fun. I look at Nikki, but she was no longer sitting across from me. I just realized that the empty dishes are also gone. I get up. I look into the kitchen just as she was turning around, "Get ready, you are coming to work with me." I turn to get my things, before she could say a word.

**Nikki's POV**

After I was done laughing I saw he was looking at the time deep in thought, so I got up and gathered the dirty plates and took them to the sink, then I grabbed the syrup, butter and milk brought them to the fridge and put them away. Then got started on the dishes. Once done I turned around, Aaron was standing and looking at me.

Aaron: "Get ready, you are coming to work with me." he and left the dining room, before I could say a word.

WHAT? Why?

I go over to the couch and grab my bag and put my laptop, mouse and desk away and grab my room key. Then walk over to the door, Aaron came out of his room at that moment:

Aaron: "Good your ready, let's go."

We walk out of the room, down the elevator and out to his truck.

***30 Minutes Later***

We arrived at a 30 story building, he parks in the underground parking garage. We get out I grab my bag as he grabs his brief case. We head for an elevator and go all the way to the top.

Once at the top we get out and I follow him to his office.

One side of the office has a couch and a coffee table, in the middle are chairs for customers facing the huge desk on the other side of the room. Along with a floor to ceiling window.

Aaron: "You will be sitting at that couch today, you can use the coffee table for your laptop.

I looked at the coffee table, There is no way I can use that coffee table with my belly, did he forget that I'm pregnant?

Me: "Did you forget that I'm pregnant? My belly will not allow me to use the coffee table."

He looks at me smirking, "Well, to bad you couldn't bring your desk."

Now it was my turn to smirk. He lost his and now looks confused. I walk over to the couch and move the coffee table and took out the everyday use box and took out the shrink ray and my desk. I set the desk down and unshrinked it. Then sat down, I grabbed my laptop and mouse set them up and look at Aaron. His eyes were cold as ice.

He walked over to his desk and sat down, he started going through paper work. I shrugged my shoulders and started writing.

**Aaron's POV**

I'm both shocked and pissed that she was able to bring her desk with her. I walked over to my desk and started going through the papers that I will need in my meeting. I see her on her laptop playing talking to guys.

***One Hour Later***

I have everything I need ready to go. I get up and walk over and close the laptop.

Nikki: "Hey I did not save that last bit."

She tried opening it but I picked it up and put it on the coffee table. "Your guy can wait, but this can not." Then I started kissing her and feeling her.

**Nikki's POV**

I was writing up a storm, it has been a while since I had saved, when out of nowhere Aaron closes my laptop.

Me: "Hey I did not save that last bit."

I tried opening it but he picked it up and put it on the coffee table. "Your guy can wait, but this can not." Then he started kissing me and feeling me.

At first I was shocked then I started kissing him back. He started taking my clothes off, I panicked "Stop! What if someone hears us or walks in?" Thinking this will make him stop.

Aaron laughs, "No one comes in without the green light, and this room is sound proof."

He started undressing himself, I'm full blown panicking now. "I'm not ready for intercorse."

He once again laugh "You should have said that before you got pregnant w***e!" he said with a cold voice.

Me: But -- I'm a ---"

He slammed into me, "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" I screamed with tears run down my face. He freezes on the spot. he looks down and sees blood, his face goes white. "You were a virgin?" His eyes are wide with confusion. "That's was what I was going to tell you, but decided to slam into me without even bothering to listen. And on top of that, you never bother to ask why I don't know who the twins father is, you just assumed that I slept with every guy I got my hands on!" I said through gritted teeth." He didn't move for 5 minutes, slowly the pain went away, I nodded and he started pushing in and out slowly. Until I was use to it.

Me: "Faster!" He kiss me then started going faster.

***45 Minutes Later***

We reached our high and lay catching our breath. Then he gets up and walks to the bathroom comes back with a wet paper towel and starts cleaning me.

Aaron: "So you just like talking to other guys?"

Me: "What?"

Aaron: "On your computer!"

My eyes go wide, "I'm not talking to other guys! I'm writing books!"

Then he helps me back into my clothes and he cleans the couch grabs a pillow and blanket and helps me lay down, once I'm down I'm out.

**Aaron's POV**

I was a jerk, I assumed she was a w***e. But it couldn't have been furthest from the truth. A truth I found out to late. She was a virgin and I took it at the most wrong place, in my office. I should have done this at home in a bed, not a couch in my office. I quickly clean myself up and get dress. And on top of that, I thought she was talking to other guys. But she was writing books. I head out of my office I look at my secretary "Don't let anyone enter my office until I return. I don't care who it is, do you understand?" She looks at me batting her eyes "Yes sire." I look at her, "That includes you, if you or anyone else enters your fired." Her eyes widen and she nods. I turn and take the elevator to the floor blow. I walk to the board room, Let's get this meeting over with, I want to get back up to my future wife. make sure she and the twins are OK.

***2 Hour's Later***

Finally the meeting is over, I rush to the elevator and up stairs.

Once out side my office door, I notice my secretary was not at her desk. I shrugged my shoulders and walk quietly into my office as not to walk up Nikki, but the scene I'm face drives that out of my mind.

My secretary was holding a pillow over Nikki face. I ran and pulled her off of her, "What do you think your doing!?" The security guards came running, she tried to leave "No you don't, grab her!" They grab her she fights to get loose.

Secretary: "That w***e was just trying to get your money. That's all. I was trying to protect you."

I ignore her, I'm trying to wake Nikki, but she isn't breathing, "Get her out of here, and call 911. Now!"

I started CPR, she is smiling as she is taken out.

"Come in baby don't leave me, don't you dare leave me."

What feels like a lifetime, She finally starts breathing and coughing, but she won't wake up. Just as the paramedics arrive they take over and rush her to the hospital, I have to deal with the police first.

***Police Investigation***

Police Officer 1: "What happened?"

Me: "I just got back from a meeting when I found my secretary trying to kill my fiancé and her unborn babies."

Just then another officer walks up with the bathroom trash can.

Police Officer 2: "Was there in wounds on the young mother?"

Me: "No. That was from earlier this morning, before the meeting."

Police officer 1: "Please explain?"

Me: "We had intercorse and it was her first time. After we finished I cleaned her and the couch up and help her get comfortable on the couch to rest."

He frowns "I thought you said she was pregnant?"

I sigh, "She is, she is 8 months along. But she was still a virgin until this morning."

Police officer 2: "What time was that?"

Me: "Between 9 and 9:45. I had a meeting at 10. We finished it at 12, I rushed back up here to check on them. When I found my secretary trying to kill them."

They nod their head.

Police officer 1: "Do you have a camera in your office?"

Me: "Yes, I turned it off this morning when I made love to my fiancé, but I turned it back on right before I left. Jesse, well show you the videos, I would like to go to my fiancé."

Police officer 1: "Alright, thank you. She was taken to your sister's hospital."

That was all I needed to hear, I was out the door to my truck and heading to the hospital as fast as possible.

***30 Minutes Later***

I arrived at the hospital I quickly parked the truck and ran inside and to the front desk "I'm looking for my fiancé Nikki Starlight!" she looks her up on her computer "She is in ICU."

I ran towards the ICU. Just at the door I face another desk. "I'm here to see my fiancé Nikki Starlight!" she looks her name up and buzz me in. I walk in and is immediately confronted by my dad.

Dad: "You were supposed to be protecting her!" He whisper-shout at me.

Me: "I know, I didn't know my secretary would try and kill her. I'm just glade I made it to her in time."

Dad: "Yes, so am I. However that is not what I'm talking about. We were just in formed she had intercorse with someone, who started off ruff and turn soft. You should have been with her to prevent that from happening."

I sigh, I earn a glare from my dad. "Dad, that was me." was all I got out, because he slapped me in the face! I stood there shocked, he never slapped me in the face it was always on the back.

Dad: "I raised you better than that."

I hanged my head,"Yes, father. I made assumptions about her. One's I regret now."

Dad: "Do you regret have intercorse with her?"

My head shoots up looking him in the eyes, "The only thing I regret about that is not doing it in our hotel room in a bed! And being gentle from the beginning!"

Dad looks at me, then he smiles and nods his head, "Good!"

Me: "How is she?"

Rose: "We don't know, we haven't heard anything since that."

At that Hope, "She is awake, she and the babies are going to be fine. That being said only one visitor today. She wants to see you, bro."

I walk into her room and I find her staring the door down. When she sees me she raise her hand to me. I walk over and set on the edge of the bed hugging her.

Me: "I'm so sorry! I didn't know my secretary would try to hurt you physically. I knew mentally because she is always doing that to my sisters. The only reason I hadn't fired her before now was my sister's. I told her to stay out, but she ignored my warning and went into my office. She has been fired and arrested for attempting murder."

She rubs my back the hole time I'm apologizing.

Nikki: "I forgive you. Because you did nothing wrong."

I looked at her, "But I did do something wrong, I made assumptions about you. And I took your innocence in my office instead of in a room."

She smiles at me, "The first one Yes you did do wrong. But the second I do not blame you."

I just look at her.

She pulls me closer and whispers in my ear, "If this room was sound proof I would have you naked right now."

Oh, what gave I done?

I kiss her hard on her mouth and she kisses me hard back. I run my tongue on her bottom lip, she giggles and opens her mouth I slip my tongue in and we dance. We pull apart for air.

I whisper in her ear, "Once you are cleared and home, you can have me as often as you want!" She smiles at me "I'm holding you to that." I chuckle.

Hope: "Sorry you two, but visiting hours are over, you can come back tomorrow."

I kiss her one more time before getting up, "Count on it, I'll bring you some food from the restaurant." "Biscuit and gravy with pancakes and a glass of chocolate shake." She says. I smile "Anything, as long as your doctor gives the green light." We look at Hope, "Yes, it's fine. Just no bacon." "Of course not, she can't be in the same room as bacon right now. Trust me I learned that the hard way last month."

Hope: "It seems you are learning a lot of things the hard way!"

I hang my head.

Hope: "Do you want to know why she doesn't know who the father is?"

Me: "Because she was a virgin."

Hope: "Yes, that is the main reason. However, she was also in a coma, during her first three months of the pregnancy. And when she woke up she had no personal memories."

To say I'm confused would be an understatement.
