Suppressing the urge to escape，I held my stance and I confronted his glare and spat，“You probably deserved it，Your Highness.”
My answer shocked everyone and made another blow to Ryan's ego. Fuming，he leaped off the bed，eager to charge forward and strike me，but Joseph stopped him in time.
“Behave yourself，Ryan. Remember you’re a prince，” the King said. “There’s no need to engage in disputes with an ordinary girl.”
“You’re right， dad，” Ryan said. Casting me a frigid glance，he declared，“I am going to ask you to leave once more. If you refuse to go now，I’ll have the guards escort you out.”
“You can’t do that to her，she—” before Rachel could finish her words，I interrupted her hastily. “Don’t.” I hissed at her.
I sensed Rachel might be on the verge of revealing my pregnancy，
