“Hi Jennifer! How have you been recently?” Harrison asks.
“I’ve been doing pretty well. I went shopping with a friend this afternoon.”
“That’s great! You should get out more.”
“You’re absolutely right. Soaking up the sun really lifts my spirits,” I say.
“Who is your friend?” he suddenly asks.
“Rachael, a doctor I met at the royal ball. She’s super nice.”
“Is that so?”Harrison visibly relaxes upon learning that my friend is a woman. “I’m really happy for you. Umm, do you have plans tonight?”
“Rachel is still at my place. We don’t have specific plans yet. Would you mind meeting her?”
“If I won’t be intruding,”
“No, you won’t be disturbing us.”
