Jennifer’s POV
To be honest, this was completely unexpected. I thought she was here to ask Ryan for a dance.
“That’s an odd request,” Ryan narrowed his eyes suspiciously. “Tell me why.”
Rachel blushed. “You see, a lot of my pack members are present today. They’re all waiting to laugh at me. They even placed bets on whether or not I’ll be invited by anyone to dance tonight. I’m tired of being the butt of their jokes.”
“They’re too rude,” I said angrily. “I’ll dance with you.”
“Is that okay?” Rachel asked Ryan excitedly.
“She already said yes,” Ryan shrugged his shoulders.
Rachel giggled. “Don’t worry,” she patted him on the shoulder. “I’ll bring her back to you soon.”
Things were not going as I expected.
