Rachel's POV While letting the tea cool in my favorite mug, the one with the chocolate donut on it – I turn to my favorite section of Le Guide Michelin. I had given up reading Scalpel years ago since I had graduated from the medical school. My mom wasn’t happy about my reading choice, as she believes food magazines are not helpful to turn me into a lady, nor a professional doctor. My mom is extremely worried about my mating bond. She is so far-sighted that she expressed the concerned when I was 8. Unlike my classmates who screamed and back off when they saw a dead frog on the table — some even fainted right at the spot, I was a born adventurer.
