It is a relief to both Luna Lizzy and me to see Samantha still in the car when we go back.
We like the girl, and she proves redeemable.
It is a long drive to Lady Matilda's house, so we have more chats with Samantha, encouraging the girl to tell us more about herself.
Luna Lizzy started the conversation with a straightforward question.
“Who are you?”
It is supposed to be an easy question to answer, yet it take Samantha some time to respond.
“My name is Samantha Wilder, Hayden Blake and Grace Wilder’s secret daughter.”She says softly.
“Grace Wilder?”Luna Lizzy murmurs the name, “That name sounds familiar to me.”
“Does it?”Samantha feigns a weak smile and adds proudly, “My mom was one of the greatest warrior from Waterland.”
