Colin's POV
"This is Val, my best friend." Paige turns to introduce me. I look at Val to introduce myself when I see an angry wolf coming up behind Paige.
Before I can react, he starts screaming at my mate. Paige is caught off guard. I push Paige behind me and face the guy. He seems younger than me, and he's much smaller. Barely coming to my chest, even with his poufy blonde hair. A growl escapes my throat, and I see him swallow. He reaches around me and tries to grab Paige. She doesn't look scared Instead, her emerald eyes are filled with hate and rage. This guy really bothers her. I grab his hand, and I hear a bone c***k, making the weak wolf cry out.
"Do not touch my mate."
