  Colin's POV   I want to argue, but I see the determination in his eyes. It helps that James is right. My father is the reason he's in this mess, and he has a right to know. I don't like it, but I understand it. Paige and I hop into the back while Alex drives. The grueling drive is silent and tense. I rub circles on the back of Paige's hand. I don't know if it's to calm her or me, but it's not working. We are both so tense that it's overloading the mate bond.
