Sophia froze as confusion flashed across her face.
She recovered quickly. "Emma, I never put a watermark in that file."
Several panel members frowned.
One of them said, "We inspected both files carefully. We found no watermark or any other marker that could identify the author."
I raised an eyebrow. "So Sophia has no evidence that she wrote it. By that logic, she could just as easily be the one who stole it from me."
Sophia stared at me in disbelief. "Emma, how can you turn this around and accuse me?"
I interrupted her and took out a USB drive.
"I do have evidence. Someone copied my research files from my computer."
The panel plugged the USB drive into the computer connected to the main display.
As soon as the video appeared, David went pale.
