As soon as we reached Chiborhurst Private Beach, I was thrilled to be back here.
It had always been such a remote, tranquil location with the sound of the waves lapping against the coast; it had always been so romantic and lovely. This dramatic and recognizable background was always given by the cliffside location, and the gloomy night and the distant sound of breaking waves lent the scene a sense of peace. Easy access to the ocean and sand was provided by the wooden steps that led to the coast and by the entire beach, and the cliff actually served as a natural barrier to enclose and shield the beach from onlookers.
