I was lost. Why did he save me? And hold on, was he the one who just admired my beauty? Holy crap, this guy just keeps confusing me.
I suddenly heard his deep voice. "Leave from here before Vincent sees you here!" He stood up and then left his room.
I wish he could just say something normal to me for once. Why does he keep acting this way? Why not leave me out in the woods and let me die if you hate me that much?
He didn't even allow me to thank him before he spoke such rude words. I glanced down and realized I was wearing his oversized black hoodie, which reached my knees.
His self-contained Dorm looked more like a palace or an alpha's quarters, so fancy. The golden chandelier lights indicated his wealth - what was a poor girl like me doing in his room?
I stood up and spotted my phone on the dressing table. "Moon goddess!" I exclaimed. "My phone is safe." If I had lost it, the pictures of my mum on it would be gone. I was relieved it was saved.
"Don't make me go hard on you!"
As I traced the source of the voice, I rolled my eyes and came face-to-face with him. He stood shirtless, a white towel tied around his waist, his abs so chiseled they could slay any girl who laid eyes on him.
Despite my attempts to dislike his attitude towards me, I found myself drawn to him more and more. It was no surprise he had a string of girls falling for him or also dying to be his girlfriend. But as he suddenly caught my gaze, my eyes widened and my heart leapt into my throat.
"I didn't see anything!" I said and left immediately, the door slamming shut behind me.
I walked into the parlor, admiring its beauty. I opened my phone to take pictures of the beautiful moon goddess sculpture when I saw the time - 7am.
I gasped as I remembered I had a morning class at 7:30am. "Oh no!" I quickly opened his door and left his Dorm.
His Dorm was filled with different types of flowers, though I didn't have time to admire them.
As I left, I made sure I wasn't noticed or seen. Then I ran to the female Dorm, pretending everything was okay. Of course, everything would be okay if no one knew I had been in the woods.
I went to my room, when I caught Kate, pacing round the room then when she saw me, she gave me a big hug looking worried.
I went to my room where Kate was pacing around anxiously. When she saw me, she gave me a big hug with a worried expression.
"Where were you?" she asked as I sat her down and recounted everything that had happened. I sighed.
"Wow, that was really crazy. It's even crazier for me to tell you this," she said, holding my hands tight.
"What is it?" I frowned, waiting for it.
She took a deep breath and said, "The female rogue wolf that attacked you was Rosa."
"What?" I was stunned. Where was this coming from? How could Rosa have attacked me? How did Kate know? So Rosa was a rogue werewolf, and I got saved again by her boyfriend. How would I ever face that b***h now?!
Kate continued, "you see, she is the only female rogue in this school and she can control her wolf." She brushed her hair with her hands. "That means she deliberately wanted to harm you."
I was speechless. I stood up without a word and went to take a shower. When I returned, I wore my gown with a crop denim jacket. It seemed Kate had already left for lectures because she was already dressed when I arrived.
Carrying my books and with my small handbag over my shoulder, I hurried to class but couldn't stop thinking about what she had told me. Was Rosa really that cruel? No wonder she was a rogue wolf, but didn't the school authorities know about this? Or was it being kept quiet due to her family's status, who knows.
As I walked down the hallway, the students looked at me with fright, anger and surprise, whispering to each other, staring at their phones and glancing in my direction.
Something seemed off. Kate, who was on her phone and coming my way, saw me and quickly approached.
"Jane, have you seen it?" Her voice was filled with concern as I stood there confused about what she was referring to.
"Just check your phone!" She instructed me to open the school app. As I scrolled through, I was shocked by what I saw.
Fuck, it was a video of me leaving Mike's Dorm wearing his hoodie. How could this have happened? Was it Vincent? No, he wasn't there. Could it be Mike himself? The caption read that an omega w***e had slept with the popular guy and had left silently to avoid being seen.
It was possible that Mike had done it. Why won't I suspect him? He despised me and maybe he had saved me last night just to humiliate me. He wanted to make sure that I accepted his rejection by any means necessary.
I started to realize something. This whole thing... It wasn't a coincidence, he had planned it with his girlfriend.
He had faked saving me and made me heal so that I could get heartbroken, and the news would spread like wildfire, hurting me the more.
Really, Mike? You're so smart.
Tears threatened to fall, but I held them back. I handed Kate, walking away. Right now, the only thing on my mind was to go confront that jerk.
"Where are you going?" Kate asked as I turned around with a red face.
"To prove that I'm an omega who shouldn't be taken for granted!"
